Wind: 0-16mph

Arrived at 8:30 (2nd on the hill) to find it bright crisp and cold but with no wind. Gradually it picked up with serious flying starting around 11:00. Landed at 13:00, packed up and went to see daughter to warm up. People still flying! Only saw a few bits of snow in the air. Top cover was coming from the north!

Wind: NNW light

It came good in the end. Had about 40 mins of pleasant soaring. Very nice.

05/02/2012 - Westbury then Batcombe
Wind: quite varied in only 40 miles

Too light at Westbury then just right at Batcombe for about 30 minutes. Quite a lot of driving, but great to get in the air.
