The club usually holds an end-of-season party at the beginning of September. Historically it was held at Mere and was known as the Mere Bash. More recently it has been held in the Cotswolds and/or in conjunction with Wessex or the BCC Final and been referred to just as 'The Bash'. It usually involves having camping (near or at a flying site), a live band or two, real ale, BBQs, lots of dancing and having a good time as well as flying if the weather is good enough (which it often is).
