With the exception of Draycott, Spencer’s Bowl and Morgan’s Ridge, all Avon Club sites are open sites.
However, if you fly our sites regularly or live within our geographical area, please do consider taking out full membership. The club works hard with landowners to maintain access to these sites and your membership support makes us more effective in doing so.

Full membership is currently just £22.50 per year.
All UK pilots visiting Avon sites should be current flying members of the BHPA, with the connected third-party liability insurance.
The Avon Club Site Reports Telegram group is open to BHPA pilots from outside the club, on application.
Visiting pilots from outside of the UK can fly our open sites with all the following-

-
A suitable equivalent qualification and corresponding IPPI card,
-
an adequate level of experience and
-
evidence of third-party liability insurance of not less than 5 million pounds.
-
Visiting pilots from outside the UK should also read the BHPA guidance https://www.bhpa.co.uk/safety/visitors/ The BHPA site also gives details of temporary membership whereby the visiting pilot will benefit from the insurance cover provided as a benefit of membership.
Full Avon membership is obligatory to fly Draycott, Spencer’s Bowl and Morgan’s Ridge.

Note that the Westbury Concessions are available to non-members. Please read the relevant concessions information located under Airspace guidance on this website.
