Er, where did all that height go?? The edge of the cloud layer is really distinct again and you can see I'm level with the top of the bowl I'm in. The A470 is just below the foreground. I've been here eight or nine minutes at this point. I'd expected something to trigger as the sun came out as I reached the bowl but no. Hey-ho - two minutes later, I was on my way up again, courtesy of my buzzard friend :-)
