As you can see, Cam Long Down is just that - a long down near Cam. Towards the top of the photo, slightly right of centre, is the conical Peaked Down and, to its right, at the bottom of the hill, is the car park and bottom landing area. It is possible to reach this on a PG (hence also HG) from the site but it will not be visible to you on the ground, nor from up to 100ft above take off. The photo shows clearly that it does indeed slope away (to the right).
To reach Take Off from the car park, climb up the gap between Peaked Down and Long Down, turn left and follow one of the paths. I cannot give much advice on this site, as I last flew it as a low airtimer, but the fields in front (bottom right) can kick off quite nicely.
