Wind: yes!
At last! A great days flying and who'd have thought it in January! Nice gentle thermals too.

Wind: 5 - 12 mph
First flight of the year! Simpsons Sky, about 20 PGs having a lovely time. Got a bit busy at times, but all pilots flew considerately (of course). Got to ~550 ft ATO. A bit cold, but well worth the numb digits. Wayne S did the ridge run to Frocester and back.

Wind: more than enough at times
First flying in 3 months! Good to see so many peeps having fun. Lost a black cloth brake handle somewhere below launch, should anybody spot it.

Seemed a bit fast and swirly at take off but in the air it was loverly. Light but occasionally large thermals, well buoyant, incredibly clear sky, even the HG's had lots of airtime.

What a beautiful day! Lovely flying and so many friendly faces. Only bad point was the lack of the usual ice cream van!

Fantastic day. Even the PG's sometimes got above 1000ft :)

Oh dear! Tired and a badly misjudged wind direction in the top field and another upright consigned to the runner bean patch. Apart from that , very very cold and a lot of people all up at once on one of those mid-winter special days that I've now learnt to watch for.

Wunneful day. Bright, clear and cold. Flew loads, coached those that wanted it, chatted loads! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqmsGDDyqb0
