Wind: 4kph e-se on hill

Thermals came through rarely and only the lucky few caught them. Ben F and Pete D got away first. Lots tried & lots bottom/side landed. I went along the ridge but got decked at the bottom below the Wyche cutting. Back on the hill not many left but a bit more wind. Launched straight into thermal to 4 grand then second to CB at 6 grand. Into white room for 300ft more. Onwards. Heard Remi on radio trying to retrieve Pete. Aborted flight due to retrieve suck, landing by car at 34k. Ta to Remi/Pete.
